We apparently had a prowler in the house last night. Thankfully it was a furry prowler. When I got up this morning I went to the kitchen to get Callie's food. I got two little clean bowls and table knife out of the dishwasher and set them on the stove. We have a smooth top stove so it get's used as a counter also. There, all over the stove were long pale cat hairs. Sophie must have been up on the stove. I will remember in the future not to leave dirty dishes sitting on it. Callie used to get up there when I was fixing her food bowl but I'm sure it wasn't her hair. She has short hair. And I have sprayed her with water often enough now that she doesn't get on the stove. I've never seen Marie on the counters. She gets on the kitchen chairs all the time and sometimes gets up on the table. Sophie is getting braver all the time.
