Let me first state that I am fine, just mentally tired. Every once in awhile a person needs to step away from something they do on a regular basis and take a break. I could tell lately that I have been feeling mentally drained because my focus has been shorter with things and my thoughts have been more scrambled.
Hey Pennie, glad to have stumbled upon your page. I'll try to stop over and check out more of your stuff.
Just wanted to tell you that I can relate to where you're at. It is frustrating, but I think a break could be exactly what you need. Or at least telling yourself it's ok if I don't write for awhile. Who knows though...the break will probably inspire some more great writing. I like to think of my breaks as brainstorming time ❤️
You do what ever you need to to keep your mind healthy. Spending time with your dad, sister a fluffies is a wonderful way to do that. We spend our days playing board games, card games and working jigsaw puzzles. And of course time with our fluffies is always good. By the way our little Marie still insists on drinking out of Paula's water bottle when we go to bed but I also caught her drining out of their water bowl in the kitchen. When she saw me she stopped and ran to get on a kitchen chair. The look she gave me was telling me I wasn't supposed to know she still drinks from the bowl. These girls are sooo goofy. But we love them all. Enjoy your hiatus from writing. I'm sure thinks will happen that will spark new story ideas. Love and hugs from my house to yours.
