Could be baby armadilloes digging around in the yard. Twice last week I saw three little ones digging all over the yard. They were so cute. Then I was able to rescue a lizzard out of the fireplace. We haven't used it in 12 yrs. This poor lizzard was so dehydrated. I caught him and put him back outside in the bushes. Hopefully he was able to catch a few bugs to get his strength back.

Very nice. Our earths critters can be so enjoyable and I'm happy to hear that you are not afraid of a lizard and was able to rescue it. I remember when I first moved to Florida. I thought it was so cool to see these lizards running all over the place. In Wisconsin I didn't see anything like that. But it reminds me when I lived in this apartment complex in Florida and a little girl came knocking on my door. She told me that there was a lizard in her apartment and her mom was afraid of them. So I went to chase down the lizard and let it go outside. The lady was happy and I told her that the lizards won't hurt her and they don't bite very hard either lol. Thanks for reading and sharing Margaret.
