Where Do You See Art

Artistic talent is everywhere

Some people could care less about art in any form. But without some art to be seen, I think the world would be boring. Take the picture above. I saw this turtle displayed in a place that I would have never thought it would be. It was outside of our court house. Now many of us who have to go to a court house is there for a reason that isn’t necessarily pleasurable like jury duty. But when I saw this beautifully painted turtle, I thought, wow that is cool. And seeing it, brightened my day some.

Where I used to live a few years ago, they appreciate art as well. On Main street down town they had artists paint murals on a few business walls and on cement blocks along the bridge. Just seeing the various colors alone brought joy to me and many others. The painted murals on the businesses tells a story that has to do with some of the history of the town. Which I think is interesting, and honestly I think that the artwork that was done is very good and beautiful.

Art can bring joy, conversation, color, and even knowledge to a place when it’s made available. So, tell me, do you like art? Are you artistic? Have you seen artistic work somewhere that made an impression on you?
