Some of the simplest things can put a smile on my face, and the guy above is one of them. He can be quite a character and loves to talk. What do you see around you that you can smile at? Do you have a furbaby? How about a funny TV show or movie. Or maybe your child makes you smile.
Did you know that when you smile, your brain releases neuropeptides? What is that you might ask? Neuropeptides are tiny molecules that help to ease the stress that you might have. When those molecules are released, then other transmitters in your brain, like serotonin and dopamine also join in and create a happy party.
So, my advice to you is to find something that makes you smile or laugh. Because if you are having an off day, I’m sure that it will help. And another plus of smiling is that when others see you smiling, it might make them smile and feel good as well.
Until next time, Smile and God bless.
Got Paula to the foot/ankle dr today. He said her ankle is healing. It doesn't need surgery. She can take the boot off when she is in bed and whrn she is just sitting in her recliner. I take her back in a month. I was able to walk at her appt without leaning on my walker. It wasnxt easy but I did it. I'm waiting for a cat scan to be done on my knee. Since I was able to walk without the walker, I pushed it in front of me with my good knee without using my hands, I probably won't need surgery. Callie, our tortoiseshell calico, has decided that she likes riding around on the seat of the walker I use. She is so funny. Makes us laugh all the time unless of course she is harassing the other two furries. I love reading all your stuff. Helps take my mind off our troubles. Hope you all are doing well in this heat. Take care. Lots of love from our house to yours.
Ha ha ha, I love this along with it being very helpful !
