November is considered a month where many people give thanks and prepare for the coming holidays. I agree, but I was also reminded by what a fellow blogger wrote the other day about November. She wrote that it is the in between month. November is in between October/Halloween and December/Christmas. Yes, November has Thanksgiving which is a reminder of what we are blessing with. But with Thanksgiving, there is no need to do fancy decorating like Halloween and Christmas.
November along with Thanksgiving should be a month were we reflect on everything we have and be grateful for it all. Also for some, a chance to relax before the hustle and bustle of Christmas and New Years. In this world today, some people spend way to much time on what needs to be done instead of enjoying the moment as it is. Planning big get together's or events instead of relaxing and enjoying everyone around you.
Yes, planning a nice Thanksgiving meal is desired but there is no need for fancy decorating. Take November as it is and don't make it any more hectic then it has to be. Relax and enjoy the moments that come. Create memories with special people instead of finding the best decorations. Unless decorating events are a tradition that you have together with your loved ones. Don't just decorate because you feel it's time too.
Remember though, the more we rush the holidays, the faster our daily lives go as well. Time goes by way too fast already so let's slow down some. Now, take care and have a great November.
November is a great month to be thankful and feel blessed for what we have, eat and take in of what we have done and want to do yet in this year. Before it does end in a month away. However be graceful about it so there will be no hustle and bustle.
