As many of you know, I live in Florida. We made it through hurricane Helene with just mostly rain. But hurricane Milton was a different story. Thankfully we weren't on the West side, but as it crept closer in our direction it got scary.
Constant wind and rain hitting the windows. Occasional thumps from tree branches hitting the roof. Wind gusts up to sixty or so miles per hour. The fear of the tall pines in the picture above crashing down on our house was also there.
It was in God's hands though. I also prayed for my family and friends on the West side. I hoped that all of them would make it through safely.
Thankfully we all did make it through with minor damage. Our house didn't have power for about twenty hours but that was doable. Life for us is now back to normal, but for some families it isn't. Please take a moment to pray for all who are struggling and suffering because of situations that they have no control over. And be thankful for what you have in front of you right now. Because, some day it might be gone.
Until next week, have a wonderful day and God bless.
So very thankful you folks and the rest of my Florida family members made it ok. Still praying for those who didn't.
Definitely prayers to everyone.
