Conclusion

Once the local journalist heard about Darren Brown’s return, she couldn’t wait to share it with the media. Most of the next day, the news media gathered outside of the hospital in hope of an interview with Darren. Dr. Green and Dr. Giovanni examined and talked with Darren and told Mrs. Brown that he seems to be in good health. They did a few different scans on Darren and didn’t find any implants. Jackie couldn’t believe that she had her son back even though he was ten years older than when he was taken.

After a few days in the hospital, Darren began remembering most of his time away. He told his mother that he was ready to talk to the media. He told them that the aliens were kind to him and taught him some of their ways. Darren said that he believes he was on their planet for most of the time, and lived inside some sort of space station. He explained how the aliens taught him how to grow his own food, and a lot about alien engineering. He said that after so long, he begged them to bring him home and told them that he missed his family. Darren said that they seemed to understand.

The news media of course tried to turn the story around and into a possible take over story, but one of the local journalists made sure that the truth be told. That’s all we need is a wide spread panic on our hands, the journalist wrote. After she interviewed Linda, the journalist included Linda’s statements about how kind the aliens were to her as well. The journalist wrote that Linda told her that she never left the spaceship so she never seen Darren. Linda said that the aliens grew a lot of plants on their spaceship so she believes that they are vegetarians.

Darren also said that when the aliens took him away, they first observed him constantly. They watched his behavior and listened to his speech as he talked to them. He said that they wanted to learn everything that he had to offer even though he was young. Darren told the journalist that even though he was gone a long time and missed his family, that he was happy to be able to experience such an adventure. One last question that the journalist asked Darren and Linda was would they go back if the opportunity arrived?

Linda told her that she might go back since she wasn’t gone that long. She said that she would because she knows that the aliens aren’t out to hurt them but to learn from them. Linda also said that it’s probably why they put the implant in her brain. She said that they wanted to learn what I do here on earth. Darren said no, that he wouldn’t go back, when she asked. He said that ten years was long enough for him and his family. He believes that they learned enough from him.

Life for all of them have changed some but continued on. Joann went back to Texas to finish getting her bachelor’s degree. Linda finished her schooling at the local college and became a Veterinary Technician. Darren started college and studied engineering. Mrs. Brown enjoyed every moment that she had with her son and started to write a novel. Cathy went back to work part time but also worked on a website with Jackie that focused on alien abductions. Their plan was to provide support for anyone who was abducted or knows someone who was abducted by aliens.
