Auntie and Dukee played together for a while with the string. She would dangle it in front of his face and he would grab at it with his teeth or his paw. Dukee must have gotten hungry because he got up and walked into his bedroom. Auntie followed him because she had to get back to work. She sat down to do some more writing. Dukee munched on some of his food for about a minute and then hopped up onto the leather stool by the window. He laid down and just looked out the window.
Mia was playing with her pink mouse again. She was rolling around with it and holding it to her nose. She clunked her head a few times by rolling around. Mom was on her laptop and watching TV. She heard Mia clunk her head, looked back at Mia, and told her that she was silly.
Dukee was taking a bath while laying on the stool and saw a bird land on the neighbor's fence. Dukee started to talk to the bird. It almost sounds like he tries to chirp back at it. He did that until the bird flew away. Then he went back to bathing his fur and cleaning his ears.
Mia got up, ran over to Mom, tapped her arm, and ran away. It was almost like she wanted to play tag. She ran to her bedroom and jumped up onto the window sill. She watched as a red cardinal was hopping around on the grass right outside her window. It pecked at the ground and then flew up onto the tree branch. Mia hopped back down and decided to take a nap on Mom’s pink slipper.
Dukee got done taking his bath and stretched out his right arm. He put his head down on his arm and closed his eyes. Looks like a sleepy day for the kitties today.
