Thunder rumbles and lightening flashes,

rain drops hit the grass.

The worms below they will grow,

and birds will feed at last.


This was something that I thought about as another thunderstorm entered our area. I pictured a world where birds were as big as airplanes and they searched for a land that wasn’t in drought. Once they found this land that had lush green grass, they knew that food was available. Now, all they had to do was dig for the fat and juicy worms to feed their bellies.

Do you think that the worms below are worms like we think or…

In a world where the birds are as big as airplanes would be scary for us small humans. So, does that mean the worms below are us humans hiding from them?
