The next morning, detective Williams stopped at the café to get a hot coffee to go. Now with two murders so close together, and obviously by the same killer, he knows it’s a matter of time before he strikes again. He decided to go to the station first thing and read up on everything that has been discovered so far. There has to be a connection somewhere between these two victims, Williams thought.

Williams talked with officer Dunken about the case and asked him to dig deep into the relationships between the two victims. He also asked him to find out who in the area sells peace lilies. Officer Dunken did tell him that George the gardener called the victim's cell phone last night and left a message. He read the message from the paper saying that he will be back to finish the flower beds next week on Tuesday. Detective Williams took the paper and looked at the message. The time recorded was around eight o’clock.
