Detective Rowan Williams told chief Chambers that the killer seems to be interested in one thing, and that’s sex. The gratification for the killer comes when he gets control of the victim in a sexual manner whether she’s alive or dead.

“When is the coroner getting here?” Williams scanned the victims body.

“He told me about fifteen minutes, and that was right after I called you,” the chief said.

Williams walked out of the victims bedroom and glanced in the other bedroom. Nothing in that room seemed to be out of place from what he could tell. Chief Chambers went back outside while detective Williams looked around the rest of the house. In the kitchen, Williams noticed a drinking glass sitting in the sink and another on the counter. He also saw a few pieces of unopened mail on the counter. With his pen, the detective moved each envelope to see the return addresses. It looks like the usual household bills, he thought.
