While detective Williams was loading the last few boxes into his car, officer Dunken called him on his cell phone. Dunken told him that he located a nursery that grows peace lilies but it’s in Grant Park, about an hour away. Williams told Dunken that he found two invoices so far from Landscapers-R-Us in Ms. Gerald’s attic.
“Okay, but they don’t grow or carry peace lilies,” Dunken said.
“I know, but that doesn’t mean someone from there hasn’t gotten them from somewhere else, like Grant Park,” Williams said.
“That’s true. Oh, and I found out that Mike Cooper quit Landscapers-R-Us the other day. As for John, they have two Johns working there but they think it was John Gunn who worked alongside Cooper at both houses,” Dunken said.
“Did you happen to get a home address for Cooper?”
“Yes, he lives out on Baker road. I’ll text you the address just in case you want to go out there later.”
“Thanks, Dunken. Oh, and can you look into Gary Page for me? His name is on these two invoices I found. I have to get going and meet with congressman Reynolds in about an hour,” Williams closed the back door of his car.
“Sure, I’ll talk to you later then,” Dunken ended the call.
