Jonathan walked through the parking lot to Big Lots and went inside. He went into the furniture department and saw Joe helping some customers. Joe saw him and waved. Jonathan walked down a few aisles and found the grills. He browsed around and found a grill that looked similar to the one he saw at Reinemins. It was a Weber, and this one had one table attached to it for seventy dollars cheaper.
As Jonathan was looking at others, Joe walked up to him.
“Here’s the one that I would pick for you… You don’t have to worry about the propane tank,” Joe touched the Weber.
Jonathan smiled, “that’s the one I was thinking about getting… Did you know at Reinemins the manager was trying to get me to buy a gas grill that was twice the price?”
“Oh you must have had the displeasure of meeting Bob then,” Joe smiled.
“Yes, I guess I did… Hey, would you like to come over tonight? I can throw some steaks on the grill,” Jonathan pointed to it.
“Sure, that sounds good… I’ll bring some beer, what kind do you like?” Joe asked.
“Well, I still have some, but Michelob is what I drink, but bring what you like,” Jonathan said.
“About what time are you thinking?” Joe asked.
“Around six? Is that okay?” Jonathan asked.
“Yeah, that’s good… I get done at five,” Joe said.
