While Jonathan was on the roof, he took a minute to look out over the beautiful land that was around him. The peaceful surroundings of nature called out to him as he exhaled.

“Wow, this is beautiful.”

He knew what he needed to fix the roof so he carefully walked back to the ladder and climbed down. He had to make a couple of trips up and down the ladder but he was able to get it done within a couple of hours. Jonathan got the ladder back down and folded it up. He put it in the one corner of the barn by the rakes and shovel. By this time it was around 4’ o’clock and he was feeling tired.

He closed the barn door, checked the door on his car to make sure that it was locked, and went inside. Jonathan took off his ACDC t-shirt and tossed it by the basement stairs. Because it was a Tuesday afternoon there wasn’t much on television. But he did find the “Die Hard” movie with Bruce Willis, so he turned that on. Jonathan drank down his beer in no time and set the bottle on the end table. He was enjoying the movie when he heard a knock on the front door. Not sure who that could be, he got up from his chair and glanced out the window. On the porch was the lovely young lady who he saw hours ago hanging laundry in her yard.
