When the movie was over, Jonathan got up and carried his beer bottle to the kitchen. He walked over to the back door and stepped out onto the porch. Just then he heard a vehicle coming down the driveway. He walked around the house and it was the coroner’s van. A nearly bald man with thick black-framed glasses was behind the wheel and parked.
“Good evening, I’m Dr. Johns the local coroner,” he stepped out of the driver's side of the van.
“Hello, I’m Jonathan, nice to meet you,” he held out his hand.
“I understand that you have a skeleton and some other remains here on your property?” Dr. Johns asked?
“Yes, let me get the key to the barn,” Jonathan turned toward the house.
Jonathan grabbed the key from just inside on a hook by the back door. He walked to the barn and Dr. Johns walked over by him. Jonathan slid the barn door open and walked inside.
“Here you might want this,” Jonathan handed Dr. Johns the flashlight.
“Oh, thank you… So it’s down there huh?” Dr. Johns looked down the hole.
“Yes, and the rest of the remains are in the woods,” Jonathan said.
Dr. Johns climbed down the ladder and turned on the flashlight. He shined the light around and saw the skeleton now laying on a tarp. He looked around and recognized some of the areas from the photos that the crime team took. Dr. Johns climbed back up the ladder and walked back to his van. He opened up the back doors of the van and pulled out a black body bag.
