Jonathan pulled into the shopping center and drove into a parking spot by Reinemins Hardware store. Since it was so early the parking lot was empty except for the vehicles that most likely belonged to employees. Jonathan was goal orientated when he walked into the store and headed right to the paint department. He looked at various paint swatches until he found the grey that he liked. Now for the blue, he thought.
“Good morning, can I help you?” Sam, the (Paint Department Expert) as it said on his badge asked.
“Good morning… Yes, I’m going to paint the exterior of my house and this is going to be the main color,” Jonathan said.
“Nice choice. Did you have a specific paint in mind?” Sam asked.
“I hadn’t gotten that far yet,” Jonathan looked at two different blue swatches.
“Oh, you’re deciding on the trim color huh? If I may, I think that the Royal Blue would go good with the grey,” Sam said.
“Yeah, that’s what I think too,” Jonathan put the other blue swatch back.
Jonathan and Sam walked to the aisle with all the exterior paint and recommended Behr paint/primer. He told him that he shouldn’t have to repaint for at least five years. Jonathan agreed that Behr is a great paint so he went with it. Sam picked up a five gallon bucket of base paint while Jonathan grabbed two gallons. They carried them over to the counter so Sam can put the colors in.
