After the movie, Jonathan got up and checked on the cat and his food and water. Knight wasn’t in the chair where he left him, and he could use more food in his bowl. So Jonathan took the bag of cat food outside and poured some into the bowl. He looked around and didn’t see Knight anywhere so he went back into the house. He locked the back door, put the bag back in the pantry, and walked back into the living room.
Jonathan sat back down in his recliner and lifted the footrest. The movie that was coming on he didn’t care to watch so he flipped through the channels. He found the movie “The Legend Of Tarzan” and left that on. As he took another drink of beer, his cell phone rang. He realized that his phone was still in his office so he got up quickly. By the time he got to the phone, it had stopped ringing. Jonathan picked it up and saw that it was Joe that called.
“Oh, it was Joe. I’ll call him back right now,” Jonathan carried his phone into the living room.
Jonathan sat back down in his recliner and called Joe back.
“Hi Joe, I’m sorry that I missed your call,” Jonathan said.
“Oh, no problem. The reason I called was to find out if you still wanted me to come over Sunday?” Joe asked.
“Yes, of course. And can you do me a favor and bring some more charcoal? I’ll pay you for it when you get here,” Jonathan said.
