As Jonathan sat in the interrogation room waiting, investigator Jordan noticed he was looking more anxious. One of the other officers moved Mr. Burns (the first owner of the house) from the other interrogation room to the holding cell. They found out that he and Jonathan used to be good friends. It wasn’t by coincidence that Jonathan bought that house once he saw it was on the market again.

Investigator Jordan and officer Randy walked into the room by Jonathan.

“It’s about time. I’ve been in here over an hour,” Jonathan said.

“Sorry about that, we had some things to clear up first,” Jordan pulled out the empty chair and sat down.

Officer Randy stood by the door and watched Jonathan as Jordan talked to him.

“I know everything, Jonathan. You might as well come clean,” Jordan stared him in the eyes.

“What are you talking about? I told you it was probably Burns, the first owner of the house,”

“Tell me, why did you kill your wife? Did she find out about the other women?” Jordan asked.

“I don’t know what you are talking about… I didn’t kill my wife,” Jonathan sat back in his chair.

“Let me tell you what we found out about you and your old friend Burns,” Jordan opened up a folder.

Investigator Jordan continued by showing a couple of older photos to Jonathan. The photos were of Burns and him together in college. He also said that Burns bought the property where Jonathan now lives while they were in college. Before Jonathan got involved with Heather, he and Burns had some wild parties at the house, and one of them had gotten out of hand.
