“Come on Mom, get up,” Mia said while she tapped her on the back.
After about a minute, Mia’s Mom woke up and slowly rolled over. She reached for Mia to pet her but Mia hopped down off the bed. Mia thought her Mom was going to get up and ran out of the bedroom. Yes, breakfast, Mia thought while she ran to the front living room.
After a couple of minutes had passed and Mom didn’t show, Mia walked back to her bedroom. Hey, she didn’t get up, Mia thought. Mia huffed and turned back around.
“I guess I’ll go play for a while,” Mia said while she walked out of the bedroom.
Mia picked up her Lamb-chop toy with her mouth and carried it to the front living room. She tossed her toy up into the air and watched where it landed. Mia softly meowed at Lamb-chop and then pounced at it. She backed up and hopped into the air. It was almost like she was showing off to it. Mia then turned and looked at her toy. She plopped down by it, sniffed it, and rolled over. Mia loves her Lamb-chop and has since she was a kitten.
Isn’t it interesting how sometimes in life we find something so simple and we become attached to it? I’m sure that many of you have had something for many years that means something special to you. Just don’t make a habit of collecting to much, because to many of something just becomes a clutter. And what enjoyment is there with clutter?
