After Mia ran into the front living room, she crawled into her small paper cave.
“Let’s see if he can find me now,” Mia whispered.
Dukee jumped down off the chaise lounge chair in the family room and slowly walked down the hallway. I know she went this way, Dukee thought. Mia laid quiet and still while Dukee entered the front of the house. He looked towards the dining area but didn’t see her. He looked up at the kitty tower but didn’t see her there either.
“Where did she go?” Dukee carefully walked toward the side table.
He peeked at the bottom shelf and then looked up at the top, but didn’t see Mia. Dukee knew that she was in here somewhere but where? He looked back at the dining table and glanced around underneath. Then he walked over to the end of the leather sofa and looked to see if she was on the coffee table. He didn’t see her but he heard her giggle. Dukee slowly walked onto the rug in front of the sofa and looked towards Mia’s litter box cabinet.
“Are you in your litter box?” Dukee asked.
Mia giggled, “nope, I’m right here.
Because Mia lifted her head and spoke, Dukee saw her. He snickered and then ran back down the hallway and into the family room. Mia ran after him but then past him and went into her bedroom. Dukee decided to hide now and ran back to the front of the house. As quiet as possible, Dukee crawled into the bigger paper cave and laid down. He waited for a few minutes before Mia trotted back to the front of the house.
Because Dukee didn’t hear Mia walk in, he shifted his body which made the paper crinkle. Mia stopped and then quietly crept around the dining table. She quietly came up to the paper from the other side. Dukee then sensed that he was being stalked. He stayed quiet while Mia stared at the paper cave. The two of them stayed still for only two minutes before Dukee had to see if she was out there.
Dukee slowly got up and crept to the opening of the paper cave. He peeked out and saw Mia staring at him.
“Okay, you found me,” Dukee said and then slowly walked out.
“I might not have found you right away but you moved just as I walked in here,” Mia said.
Dukee sat down and looked at Mia, “that was fun though, right?”
“Yes, it was,” Mia giggled and then walked over to the coffee table.
Just then, Mia’s mom walked down the hall and into the living room, “are you two behaving?” She said while she looked at both of them.
Dukee looked up at Mom and heard Mia giggle from the coffee table. They knew that his time they had fun together. Sometimes they just get aggravated with each other. But, I guess just like us humans, we have some grumpy days too and want to be left alone. Anyways, they both want to wish you a Happy Weekend with whatever you do.

This was really cute with the two of them playing in paper and actually having pictures of them with the paper.
