The Day With Dukee And Mia
Rainy day sleepiness
Dukee hopped down from Mia’s litter box cabinet, stopped, and looked at her.
“What's wrong Mia?” Dukee asked her.
“I just feel tired today, that's all,” Mia said.
“I can understand that because I feel sleepy too. It must be the weather,” Dukee said.
“Yeah, as long as there isn't any booming with it, it is sort of relaxing,” Mia said and then licked her paw.
Dukee walked past Mia and the around the reclining sofa.
“Where are you going?” Mia asked him as she laid down on her scratch board.
“Well, I've been looking for squirrels most of the morning but they haven't come yet so I'm going to take a nap,” Dukee said.
Mia giggled and then said, “yep, it must be the weather.”
Dukee walked down the hallway and into his bedroom. Mia yawned and then laid her head down on her scratch board.
Because it has been a bit chilly and rainy here the last couple of days, the squirrels and birds have not been as active. So, because of that, Dukee and Mia seem to be a bit more sleepy. I guess it can be just like us humans, some of us feel more tired on rainy days too.
