What was that? Dukee thought and lifted his head. Mia was on the shelf under the table and growled and hissed at him. Auntie R called Mia over to her while Dukee’s mom told him that everything is okay and it was just Mia. Mia is still trying to get used to everything but we are happy to see her venturing out of her bedroom more often now.
Dukee looked over at Mia and watched her as she looked around at everything. Being in a smaller place will take some adjusting for all of us. But we are very thankful for a decent place to live and thankful for our family for helping us out.
