Investigator Bigsby and sheriff Brown chatted for a few minutes up by the road. Bigsby’s team had already left as well as officers Jackson and Barkley. As the sheriff said goodbye to investigator Bigsby, officer Reese called him.
“Hi sheriff, Alex is doing good… they gave him some strong pain medication so he’s asleep now. He will be up here for a day or two, they said,” Reese said.
“Okay Reese, thank you for letting me know… I will see you tomorrow afternoon then,” the sheriff said.
“Yes, goodnight sheriff.”
