Officers Jons and Reese finally arrived at the pier. With all the extra traffic it was hard to find a place to park. They couldn’t double park down there because it would hold up to much traffic. So they had to walk a bit and cross the street to get there.
As they walked to the end of the pier, an older couple rushed over to them. The gentleman spoke up and told the officers that they were the ones who called and reported what they saw. He explained that it looked like a very large alligator but it had a short nose.
“Could you tell approximately how big it was?” Officer Jons asked.
“Yes, I would say that it was about ten feet long,” the gentleman said.
