Officer Barkley finished talking to the lady and took a walk down onto the beach by the pier. The creature wasn’t there anymore but he did find some scales from it. He searched around the area for anything else out of the ordinary but didn’t find anything.
Barkley made his way back up the beach and up onto the pier. He looked around over the railing on the one side and didn’t see anything. Visitors were just starting to arrive at the beach to enjoy their day. And now with those creatures making their appearances during the day, it was a huge concern.
As the local businesses opened for the day, more and more people showed up. The temperature was in the low 80s and the sun was shining bright. Officer Barkley walked back to his car and headed back to the station.
Officer Jons, at the police station, continued to talk to officer Jackson when sheriff Brown called. He told Jons that he captured a small beast on the beach at his house.
