Officer Reese arrived back at Flag Beach and saw the sheriff. She pulled up behind the truck where sheriff Brown and the men were. This of course was blocking traffic, but it would only be for a minute or two. Reese popped the trunk and got out of her car. She walked around and met the sheriff there. He lifted the plastic bag with the creature in it out of the trunk so Reese could move her car out of the way.
“Thank you, Reese, you can go back to the station now,” Sheriff Brown said.
“Okay sheriff,” Reese climbed back in her car and left.
The sheriff lifted the bag and put it in the back of Joseph's truck alongside the big beast, “there’s another one for you Joe.”
Joseph smiled, “well if I find what I think that I might find inside these creatures, your worries might be over.”
“Why, what do you mean?” Sheriff Brown wiped his forehead.
“I’ll let you know if that is what I find, but I don’t want to say anything yet… It’s a hunch that I have,” Joseph opened the door of the truck.
