When officer Barkley drove up to the pier and parked, he and officer Jackson saw a group of people down on the beach. The two of them walked down onto the beach and were caught off guard when they saw a beast about 15 feet long. It looked similar to the others but was more fish-like.

“What do you think?” A young man asked.

Barkley noticed a jet ski with a rope sitting nearby, “Did you pull this thing in?”

“Yeah, pretty cool huh?”

“It’s dead, why did you bring it to shore?” Jackson asked.

“Well, I thought somebody could study it… And maybe I’d get some kind of reward,” the man smiled.

Barkley whispered to Jackson that he was going to call the sheriff. The man had a point about studying it, so he wanted to see what the sheriff thought about it.
