By evening, sheriff Brown made sure that the beach hours were on the posted beach signs. He also requested officer Benjamin to patrol the back and front of the businesses along the beach more often than before. If there was going to be a new species trying to wreak havoc on sheriff Brown’s beach community, he was going to be ready.
A few nights had passed since they found that second beast behind the stores, and everything was quiet. The local bars were open to their regular hours, and whoever lived close still walked home with no problems. Officer Benjamin only once had to tell some teenagers to leave the beach late one night.
