While Nancy and Bill sat in the theater watching the remake of Psycho, they heard a strange and spooky laugh a few rows behind them. Nancy giggled at the laugh and casually peeked over her shoulder to see who did it. Oddly enough there was nobody behind them.
Bill told Nancy that maybe it came from somewhere else but it just sounded like it came from behind them. As they continued to watch the movie they heard the laugh again. It was quiet but eerie like a witch cackle. Bill was for certain that it did come from behind them. So, he looked around and glanced over his shoulder but again saw nobody.
As some of the movie scenes got more intense, with the actor playing Norman Bates stabbing people to death, Nancy grabbed Bill's arm in fear. And every so often they still heard the strange spooky laugh behind them. Bill asked Nancy if she wanted to leave but she said no, that she will be fine. So they sat and watched till the end of the movie with Nancy leaning close to Bill. In the last scene Norman was now at the police station being questioned. When the one police officer asked Norman about his mother, Norman, now in the voice of Mrs. Bates, said that she was right there alive and well. Then she looked directly at the audience and cackled loudly.
This story was just a little something I through together. Since I started working, my time to write has shortened some. I hope that you liked it and please feel free to comment below.
I love it ! !
Now if it happened to me for real, I might have left the theater.
