Special Wishes

You know what most people find pleasing and makes them happy? Special wishes. A special wish given in person, over the phone, in a card or even through a text message can make someone's day. My niece sent the picture above to me the other day and it warmed my heart. She is really good at letting the people who she really cares about know that.

What I find interesting is that some people are either scared to share special wishes or have never experienced the joy of receiving them so they don't give them. That is sad to me if that is the case. Sharing a special wish is really a simple thing to do. Now, I am not a person who loves to be around people that much, but when I am, I try to be very pleasant.

I will wish a stranger a nice day. I will give a compliment to a stranger just because I know that it is a nice thing to hear. I also let my family and friends know how much they mean to me. If more people showed more kindness with simple greetings and wishes, I believe that there would be more happiness in the world. But that is just my opinion.
