Special Present

Just a humorous Christmas poem

It was the night before Christmas,

and not a peep was heard,

until momma stepped on a freshly left turd.

“Barabas,” she yelled.

The dog hid in a corner near the living room door

with hopes to be let out so he could do more.

Daddy got up to see what the yell was about,

and saw the poor dog just whining to go out.

“Did we forget about you my poor old boy?

Well, I'll let you out and then give you a toy.”

Momma cleaned off her foot and cleaned up the

floor, and then heard happy Barnabas run

through the door.

“Is he okay now?” Momma grumbled and asked.

Daddy smiled and said, your new present’s warm

if you act fast.”

Momma rolled her eyes and headed back bed,

while Daddy petted Barnabas good night on the

head.

So on Christmas Eve, if a loud yell is heard,

then Santa might have stepped on some animals

turd.
