The world is full of various types of people. I find myself to be a caring, strong, intelligent, introvert with strong values. I care about the well-being of others, but I also don’t trust strangers. I find myself to be cautious for the most part, but unpredictable at different times.
People I know say that I am a caring person who will do what I can to make others happy. I was like that 100% of the time when I was younger. As I have aged and matured, I have learned a lot about myself and other people. I know that in order to take care of others, I have to take care of myself first. It’s not being selfish, it’s being strong. If you become ill, your strength to take care of others’ lessons, and that’s not good.
People that I don’t know, may see me one day as a nice person. Some may also think unkindly of me if they see my strong side of me. Sometimes being strong can look aggressive. This is also how I see some of the people of the world. Many though seem very selfish in my eyes. Some companies are only out to get everyone’s money and don’t show appreciation to their employees. Countries threaten and destroy other counties just because they don’t like something the other might be doing.
Neighbors kill neighbor’s just because they don’t like how they are. So many people don’t appreciate others either. Very rarely do I hear an excuse me from someone passing in front of me at the store. I say it all the time because that is how I was taught. And it’s not just the younger generation that isn’t being taught. Older people have also dropped being considerate to others. What has gone wrong with our human race? I can think of a couple of things.
When the fourth of July comes around every year, I don’t celebrate as some people do. I don’t feel like my country deserves to be celebrated that much. All the fighting, killing, stealing, and abuse that still goes on. All the hate of various types of mankind that still floods our streets. Why would I be proud of that? Why would I want to celebrate?
I will start celebrating mankind again when everyone starts to pull together and get along. What people don’t realize is that we can hate our neighbor for stupid reasons. But when God finally destroys the world because he’s fed up, where did that hate get us? Nowhere!
