Each day when we awake, our thoughts are very important. We can easily think that we don’t want to go to work or do chores. But if you do, it could create a negative impact on the rest of your day. It is best to push those thoughts away and be grateful for the day.
Be grateful that your heart is still pumping. Be grateful that you are able to read this. Be grateful for the good people that you have in your life. Be grateful that you have a roof over your head.
There are so many things to be grateful for. Some people have it much worse and could use some blessings. And some of those people already feel blessed because they are alive. They trained themselves to start their day with good thoughts.
Our thoughts control a lot of what happens to us. Thinking positive and believing in the good of most things is a great way to start. For example, that trip to the doctor will be a good one, is a positive thought. Yes, there are some times no matter how positive and grateful we try to be, it might not work out. But those times make us stronger.
I believe that God doesn't give us problems that we can't handle. It might seem like it at the time but think of all that you have made it through already. You are stronger mentally because of it and he is always with you.
So, are you going to look at each day with a grateful heart? It makes for a much nicer day.
