Ben sat and observed the grace and strength of both Titto and Jolene during their performance. He also picked up a few new tricks from the clowns performance. Ben also liked spending time with Tabby. After the show though, Ben went and talked to Jan and Vinny, two of the clowns. He asked their permission to use part of a trick that they did for his future performance.

“Well, you will have to get an okay from Stan too but it's okay with me,” Jan said.

Vinny just nodded and went about what he was already doing.

“Okay, thank you,” Ben smiled at Jan.

Ben managed to catch up with Stan before he left the circus for the week, and Stan was fine with sharing some tricks. Ben also wished Tabby a good week and told her that he would see her again on Saturday.

Over the course of the week, Ben worked constantly, trying to perfect his first performance. Even after his Graduation on Friday evening, he made sure that he had all his moves the way he wanted them and his costume ready to go. Ben wasn't sure if he would be performing alone right away, but he wanted to be ready just in case.

As Saturday morning came, Ben was super excited about his new job. He even asked his parents to come to the circus and watch the shows.

“Are you sure that you will be performing today? After all it's only your first day on the job,” Ben’s mother said.

“If I can reassure Demon Dave that I'm ready, I'm sure he'll fit me in.”

“Okay sweetheart, we'll be there. Do you need a ride in there this morning?”

“Yes I do and I need to leave in about an hour if that's okay,” Ben said.

“Yes. Let me clean up these dishes first and then we’ll go,” his mother said.

“Ben, if you don't get to perform right away, it's okay. Sometimes we don't get to do things when we want to,” his father said.

“Thanks dad.”
