After the car crash Katie opened up her eyes. Her body couldn't move but she heard a couple of voices outside of her car. The one ladies voice sounded upset as she said I didn't even see her. The man's voice said that she showed up out of nowhere.
Katie tried again to move but couldn’t. She spoke up but no one seemed to hear her.
“Help me, I can't move,” she said.
When she saw a police officer look in the car window, Katie said once again that she couldn't move. The police officer waved a firefighter over and he had the jaws of life device in his hands. Katie felt some emotional relief when she saw what they were about to do.
After the firefighter pried the door open, Katie told him that she felt okay but couldn't move. She then heard him say that it didn't look good. What are you talking about, Katie thought. The firefighter then reached in and felt for Katie's pulse. He turned his head, looked at the officer, and shook his head no.
“Wait, where are you going?” Katie said as the firefighter walked away.
Moments later two paramedics walked over and the one checked her neck. Then, without any problems, they moved her to a stretcher.
“Oh thank you,” Katie said.
But as the paramedics wheeled her to the ambulance, Katie saw a bright light.
“What is that?” Katie said.
“The poor woman must have had a heart attack.”
Sad, but good.
