Happiness In Small Doses

It has been over a week since Dukee became ill but with the few doses of steroids, he is feeling better. Seeing him eating again makes me happy. He will need more medical attention but I am just happy to see some improvement.

In life, we sometimes have difficult times, and some of those times can be overwhelming. But when help is given and things improve even a little, hope is felt. This is why we can not live life just sitting in a pool of sadness. We need to take some action and believe that life can be filled with happiness again. Some situations might be a struggle, but we can get through them one step at a time. And be grateful for the small doses of happiness that come along the way.
