I know that the title of this post is not a happy one but I will explain why I chose it. See, we all go through times in our lives when we grieve over someone or something. This time for me and my family, we grieve over the loss of my father. He lived a long life just shy of 95 years. And he was happy and healthy for most of it.
Now, grief can be a hard time but what to keep in mind is that it is inevitable and we do grow from it. Yes, sometimes the loss of someone does not make sense but I know that there must be a reason why.
For me, the loss of my father was expected. His health started to noticeably deteriorate this year. So I prepared myself mentally and knew that peace would come to him soon. Yes, my sister and I are now put into a situation that I will not go into detail about, but it is best to stay in faith and keep positive.
Staying positive can get tough at times so that is when you need to do something for yourself. Get some fresh air. Spend some time in nature. Go for a relaxing walk and know that your loved one is at peace. A peaceful walk can help clear your mind of some of the anger and frustration that might be inside you.
Yes, feeling happy again might take time or be difficult in some situations, but remember, are you upset just for yourself? Walk in peace and know that your loved one is in a better place.
Until next time, have a wonderful day and God bless.
Oh I am sooo sooo sorry to see that your father has passed. Please give Robin a big hug fom us and get one back from her please. I am sure your mom was so happy to be with him again. Just remember that you and Robin will be up above with them again one day too. It will take time but I know you and Robin will be able to be in a happier place one day. Just take one day at a time and you will get there. Love and hugs to you both.
