After the brief scare and visit from the humans, Pa told Drew that they need to have a meeting now. Usually after a human visit, the fairy community tends to venture out and check on each other anyways.
"This is the perfect time to talk to the other elders about our future as fairies,” Pa said.
“I agree Coss. If you all would like to stay at our place with Fiona, you’re more than welcome to,” Drew looked at Ma and Tia.
“Thank you Drew, we will for a little while,” Ma smiled.
Pa and Drew left the shelter and headed toward the village. Little by little the members of the community climbed out of their shelters. The first elder they met with was Wilma. She and her teenage son Drum were standing near their raspberry field.
“Good morning Wilma. Are you two doing alright?” Drew asked as he and Pa walked up to them.
“Hello Drew, hello Coss,” Wilma nodded, “Yes, we survived the visit okay, but some of my raspberry field didn’t.”
