Pa helped Drum set up some seats in the yard for the meeting while Wilma prepared the table. Slowly the elders arrived and conversed before the actual meeting started. They also gathered up and enjoyed some of the delectable food that was supplied by Wilma and Pa. It did seem a bit strange not seeing their once oldest elder there at the meeting. But now, Pa and Benjamin, being the same age, are the oldest male elders of the group.

Wilma Featherwheel is the third oldest elder and has instructed the female side of the fairies very well over the years. Tia actually looks up to Wilma and hopes to someday have as much knowledge and wisdom as she does. As Wilma greets the other elders and welcomes them to her home, Pa is out front now waiting for Drew and Niko to arrive.

“Wilma, I’m sorry about the crops in your field. I was lucky this time. The humans missed my flower beds,” Mr. Finn Dollarweed gathered up some blackberries.

“Thank you Finn. It wasn’t my life smashed is the way I think of it, and so we must go on,” Wilma said.

“Very positive way to look at it,” Finn said as he walked over to a wood stump and sat down.

Drew and Niko finally showed up, so Pa and them joined the group. Niko and Drew got a cup of blackberry juice and sat down while Pa stood up front.

“Welcome everyone. Thank you for coming to the meeting,” Pa said.
