Chapter 14, Sunshine learns of her father's death

Drew and Benjamin looked at each other as they stood over Otto’s dead body.

“We need to take him home Drew,” Pa looked up at his brother.

Drew bent over and was ready to pick up their leaders legs when Pa walked over to Otto’s head.

“What do you want me to do?” Benjamin asked.

“Inform the rest of the elder’s. This has gotten more serious now,” Pa said.

As Benjamin left to tell the others, Drew and Pa carefully picked up Otto Fishwick and started to carry him to his home. On their way to his house, Rum and Niko saw them and followed.

“What happened to Mr. Fishwick?” Niko asked.

“Well, it seems that he took flight out to the edge of the woods and was swatted down by some humans,” Pa said.

“Is he dead?” Rum asked.

“Yes, he is. We celebrated his life only to lose him shortly after,” Drew said.
