Extra Hours At Work

Yes, I'm happy about that

Now for some people, they might not like to work more hours, but for me it's a blessing. Yes, my body doesn't always like working more hours but the money pays the bills. And when the bills are paid, then I'm happy.

I only work part time hours which sometimes isn't enough, especially with the rising prices. So, when my place of employment has a larger budget and asks me to work more, I usually accept. See, living on a very very tight budget can be hard for most people but I have made it work to the best of my ability. And a great big thank you to my sister and dad for allowing me to live with them.

Sometimes, I believe that we were brought together these later years on purpose in order to care of one another. Out of the three of us, I am the most able to do most of the house cleaning and the yard work. My father being 94, doesn't do a whole lot anymore. And my older sister has many health issues that she has to be careful with.

So, my happy thought today is that I am happy for the added work hours that were given to me this season. Do you feel happy and thankful when your place of employment asks you to work more hours?
