Enjoy What God Gave You
Every one of us has been blessed by God in some way, think about it. Could it be that you have many wonderful children? Or that you paint or draw as good if not better than Picasso? Whatever it is, you should be thankful and grab onto that blessing. Use that blessing and make it even better.
Let’s say that you have children and being a parent feels right to you. Would you like to share that feeling? Would you like to help others in some way? Think about it, you could write something about parenting, or become a foster parent.
You love to paint or make things like jewelry, or furniture, and you are good at it. Don’t be afraid, but grab onto your blessing and make God proud that you are using what he/she gave you. You could set up a way to sell or even donate your products to a worthy cause.
God’s blessings are just that, and we need to stay modest, appreciate and respect them for what they are. We can benefit from them as well as help others benefit from them.
Stay Modest
No matter what you have been blessed with, always be respectful. You may be able to paint better than someone else, but they might be better at crafting furniture. In the world we live in, there are many ways that modesty can be stolen. Take the social media world for example;
Instagram and Twitter are two popular platforms where you can accumulate followers. It is fun to have followers when something about you is of interest to them. It’s nice to put what you like and enjoy out there for all to see. But with having followers comes responsibility and respect.
People will learn about you and what you have to offer, just like a store that carries your favorite merchandise. What you have to keep in mind is to not let the attention go to your head. Stay modest and respect your followers as well as yourself. Those 1,000 followers could easily drop down to 1 if you do or say something offensive.
Just like that store that you enjoy shopping at. An employee that works there may say something you find offensive. What would you do? Would you still shop there? If not, they lost a customer. Or, you would still shop there, but you may not give the store a very good rating.
Be Grateful
You must want to feel grateful for what you have, so why don’t you show your gratitude as well. So many things, opportunities, and people go unnoticed when we really need to show appreciation for all. Let people know that you are grateful for them or whatever it might be that they have done or said. A simple thank you, even to your followers online, it will make a large impact.
So much is taken for granted in life and we need to be more aware. Aware of our blessings, and other people’s feelings.
