As I was raised, I learned about the Christian faith and Jesus. I have for the most part of my life believed in the coming of the Lord, his crucifixion and his resurrection. For those of you who do not know, Jesus was ridiculed and tortured. He was hung up on a cross and left to die. He then was placed in a dark, cold, tomb where they blocked the entrance with a heavy boulder.
Jesus followers wept over his death but also kept the faith that he would be back like he had told them. To this day I believe that God and Jesus takes care of us. God the father blessed us with his son Jesus so that we would learn how to survive the cruelty of the non-believers.
As you can see, our world of cruelty and non-believers has increased. But for me, I will always keep my faith in God and Jesus and be thankful for everything that I have learned from them. See, Jesus died for us because of our sins so that we could live and grow from it all. He did not have to do that but he believed in many of us.
I know that I will be forever grateful for what Jesus did for me. I will also be thankful for the blessings that God and Jesus continue to give me and my family. Yes, we all endure hardships, but we are also given many chances to grow from them and become a better person.
So, are you going to be grateful and grow or become a miserable person without faith? It is up to you. Until next time, have a blessed and Happy Easter everyone.
Easter blessings to you Pennie. God bless.
