A unexpected pleasure

Depending on what you find as a pleasure, it is nice when an unexpected pleasure happens out of the blue. The other day my sister and I had to stop at Walgreens to pickup one of her medications. When we drove around the building to go to the drive through, we saw a pair of Sandhill Cranes.

The picture above is the best shot I took of one of them. Did you know that Sandhill Cranes mate for life? So, if you see one all by itself, it is kind of sad because what I understand is the other one passed away.

Anyway, it was so nice to have seen these birds because we had not seen any for a long time on the east coast where we were. There has been so much building going on over there that the wildlife is losing. It was almost like another blessing from God saying, here is something else for you to enjoy here.

We have not had the chance to get out much yet because we have been going through stuff to donate, so when the wildlife comes to us so to speak, we treasure it. Tell me, do you enjoy wildlife? What brings you pleasure?
