Hello everyone. I've been meaning to throw out some applause to a couple of authors who I am very proud of. Of course there are many out there who do wonderful work but these two you might even know from Wordpress. I love their work even though their writing is very different.
P. J. Gudka, better known as Pooja wrote a collection of poems and put them together in the beautiful book in the picture at the top, "All The Words I Kept Inside". This talented young woman took many of her true thoughts and feelings from her past and created this very real and touching piece of work.
What I like about this book is that some of what she wrote resonated with how I had felt when I was a younger woman growing up. I believe that it took a lot courage from her to share these thoughts and feelings with the world. You might even find that you can relate to some of her thoughts and feelings which to me is a plus. This just goes to show that there is usually someone else in the world who has gone through what you might be going through now. You are never as alone as you feel.
If you are not familiar with Miss Gudka, you can also find her many writing talents and services on Wordpress in the following link... https://lifesfinewhine.ca/
I just want to say, Great Job Pooja. I love your book and your talents. Looking forward to more.
Now, in the second picture are three of the books that I have by fellow author, Lee Hall. I stumbled upon this writer about two years ago and have been following him ever since. He is also very talented and I love his work because I too enjoy writing mystery and horror. Lee has written nine books so far which are on Amazon as well and the most recent one is, "The Last Outlaw". This story sets a scene of gun slingers in the old west but with a twist of unexpected creatures on a killing spree. It is the smallest word count of his collection but it is loaded with excitement. I just love his imagination that he puts into his stories. And his writing is so descriptive and enticing that you don't want to put the books down.
Lee Hall also does his best to encourage other creatives and occasionally posts experienced tips for writing and marketing on his blog page, Lee's Hall of information, https://leehallwriter.com/
His shared love for being creative continues to inspire me with my writing, thank you Lee Hall.
So, as you have read, these two talented writers vary some but both love what they do. They both have inspired me to continue to do what I love also, and that's write. Even though I have only been writing for about four years, I have published two of my own books so far on Amazon. Someday I might have a book traditionally published, but for now, self-publishing works for me.
I'm proud of my work and if you write good stuff, you should be proud too. A lot of time and effort goes into writing, editing, re-writing... You get the idea. So, no matter what type of writing you do, stick with it if you love it. Publish a book or more and get your work out there. These days, being able to self-publish a book on Amazon is pretty simple. The only one holding you back now is you.
In conclusion... I hope that you enjoyed this post and check out the writer's I have mentioned. Their books would also be great gifts for the readers that you might know in your world. We all can be found on Amazon. Thank you and take care.
