Accomplishments

Something that brings happy thoughts to my mind are accomplishments. And everyone should be proud of themselves when they accomplish something. It doesn't have to be something big either. To me, all accomplishments are good ones.

In the photo below is part of the shoe department where I work.

I'm part of the truck team where we unload, unpack, and do all the steps it takes before merchandise hits the floor. But the past few trucks have been smaller than what we are used to so we would get it all done in a day or two. Now, because of that we are assigned other projects that need to be done.

A couple of weeks ago, my coworker and I were assigned to reorganize the shoes in the shoe department. We had to group each brand together in their own sections in each size. It was a lot of unloading and loading of the shelves. And a lot of walking and searching. It took us about five days total to get the shoe department completed. And I have to admit that it does look a lot better.

Now, hopefully it will be maintained and kept more organized then before. And stay that way for awhile. But, that is one thing that I have noticed working retail is that things are always moving.

Anyway, accomplishments are important. Big or small, it feels good when something is completed. Sometimes compliments are also part of job which is a bonus. So, feel good about it, you deserve it.
